Several bloggers have done a meme called “7 things about me.” I have a little different take on it. You can tell a lot about a person by what is stuck under their couch cushion, so here are…
7 things I found under my couch cushions:
5 Hairbands
A rock
A whole almond
A dishtowel
A toy spatula
Toy pickles
A purple rubber bat
So what is it that this list says about me? I’ll let you figure that out.
By the way, if you decide to steam-clean your couch like I did, do not take the cushions outside to dry! A bird just might fly by and POOP ON THEM!! I’m just sayin’……
Ha! At first i thought the toy pickles were funny, but the couch cushion thing is even funnier! I hope it cleaned up OK!

What a clever idea! I would probably be able to list the seven types of crumbs found under my couch cushions–Cheezits, nacho chips, Milkbones, etc…
I imagine that someday I’ll find a toy pickle under the cusions.

What does it tell me about you…it tells me you have children that you tell to clean up and they do what my children do – shove it under the closest thing they can find and then say “I’m done!”

I like your new layout, Sarah! I would answer the seven things too, but my couch cushions are attached to the couch! Also, since we just moved there isn’t much in there, I dont think. I agree with Helen though. My kids like to put things away under the nearest thing possible!

i will be steam cleaning this week! thanks for the advice! we have dozens of bird baths and feeders all around the house so they are always in abundance. only God knows what is in my couch cushions. i’m not sticking my hand in there!
