BookWorm Meme: Wait! This is Really Fun!

In my almost two years of blogging, I’ve seen many memes, and this one is the most fun! Lisa, at Stop and Smell the Chocolates, gave me the Book Worm Award! I love reading- mostly Christian Fiction/Suspense.

The directions on this one are very unique directions: find the book closest to you, turn to page 56, and type in the fifth sentence plus a couple more after that.

Of course, Lisa’s was the Chocolate Lover’s Cookbook! I turned around and grabbed a book off my bookshelf, and it was

The Sacrifice, by Robert Whitlow! He is one of my favorite authors, and a friend of mine produced/directed a movie from one of his other books: The List. So here’s lines 5-7 of page 56:

“After Jake left, her thoughts didn’t revisit a high-school romance with Scott Ellis. He remained buried under several layers of relationships. Kay wanted Jake, not as he was, but as he had been when they fell in love, and a glimmer of hope still burned in her heart that her marriage could be restored

So how about you? I have to pass this on to five others, so I’m going to pass it to some of my new twitter contacts! I’m also going to see how well I know them by trying to guess what their closest book will be.

AmyPermission to Peruse ( Let me guess, Twilight?)
RachelChristians in Good Company (Something by Joyce Meyers?)
MelissaMel’s World ( Maybe Beth Moore?)
Donna– Way More Homemade (must be a cookbook!)
The last one is YOU! If you play along, leave a link in the comments!
