I was against co-sleeping until I was sleeping. At my 6 week check up, the nurse midwife recommended nursing in bed. That’s how it all started. Our daughter was in bed with us on and off until the age of 2. She’s 7 now and sleeps on her own in her bed just fine.

Well said. I wish I had something to add but you said it perfectly! :-) We didn’t start out co-sleeping, but my girls often come in bed with us now. I don’t mind a bit. :-)

I agree – very well put. In the end, it’s up to you. My girls have slept on their own, until my 2 1/2 year old started being afraid of loud rain/wind/thunder. Now she ends up with us most nights. I don’t get a lot of quality sleep, but waking up next to those little blond curls in the morning is absolutely, totally worth it.
