Do You LOL?

I don’t know about you, but I am SO over typing “LOL” when I laugh at someone! I want to let them know I’m laughing, literally out loud… usually followed by my husband saying, “What are you laughing about?” laughing

Then I have to try to explain the joke to him, which he usually doesn’t get because he doesn’t know the backstory…

ANYWAY… I need a new expression, folks!

So tell me, what do you type to let someone know you’re laughing?

LOL?

ROFLOL?

Haha?

Hee Hee?

He He?

#snort?

  1. I say “hee” a lot in real life, so I type that, too. Sometimes followed by “haw”, but not often. I hate LOL, but I still use it sometimes.

  2. I usually either say “LOL” or “haha”… depending on my mood. For some reason I’m smiley face addicted – not sure what that’s all about. 🙂

  3. I have started to say “giggle”. 🙂 Unless I really am Laughing Out Loud, then I must admit I use LOL.

I’m with you – LOL is so 2003. We need something new. I’ve been using “Ha”, sometimes by itself, sometimes with an exclamation point. Depends on how funny it is.

    Ha.

I use LMAO (laughing my *ss off) a lot! This one means I’m seriously laughing! or ROFL. Or if I really like something, I’ll combine them ROFLLMAO! Another good one!

If I’m LOL and my mountain man is asking what’s so funny… There’s snorting involved.

I personally like “hehe.” If I’m REALLY laughing good, then ROTFPIMP (peeing in my pants). But that’s not conducive to Twitter, now is it?
