Fresh Ideas for Greener Living

I will never put myself forth as a “poster child” for green living. I know I have a long way to go.  But I do take little steps when I identify something we can change as a family. I do like to do research to find out if the methods I’m using really ARE greener, but if it saves money, keeps stuff out of landfills, or uses less energy, it’s a pretty safe bet, right?

One of the things I love about going to blog conferences, like BlogHer ’10 in NYC last weekend, is getting to interact with brands and companies I love.  Walmart offered one of those opportunities for us to share our experiences in video at their Expo Booth.  Of course I, ever the ham, loved sharing what we’ve done in our kitchen!

Here’s my really short video, and if you want to see more, click through to Walmart on YouTube, then click where it says “220 Videos” and you’ll see all the other bloggers from the conference!

(If you read this in a reader, click here to watch the video.)

How do YOU live more in harmony with the environment? (leave a comment!)

  1. Sarah, aren’t you just cute as can be? You did a great job in the booth. I would have been saying, “Ummm, uhhhhh, and, uhhhh.” Ha.

My GREEN step is to use the reusable bags vs. the plastic when I shop for groceries.

Concerning your question on my post: Yes, King’s Park. If you come to my facebook page, you’ll see a video I made of worship on Sunday (very short). You must have come to Campus Harvest when you were in college. Was that it? We are an Every Nation church.

    Love & hugs,
