Introducing a new feature at Real Life! I have become somewhat of a frugal food expert in the past two years of playing the grocery game, and trying to live on a fixed income with an increasing family. I love the feedback I receive from posting recipes, but I wanted to do something a little bit more. So each Friday, I’ll share a recipe or tip for creating delicious meals on a budget.

I must give a few hat-tips first. In searching for a name, I looked up The Frugal Foodie, and found this great blog, called just that! Scratch that name. Then , I looked up Frugal Feast, and found that there is an actual entire blog dedicated to this topic. Of course, I’ve seen Friday’s Feast, which actually has nothing to do with food.

Of course, we know that every good blog gimmick feature must have as much alliteration as possible. So I decided to use the name Friday’s Frugal Feast. I don’t think my little Friday posts will take traffic from these great blogs.
