My Hair Confession

Well, here it is, my deep dark hair confession! (no pun intended) Oh, and I got some fab new shirts from Khol’s today that I’m considering wearing to Blissdom. I might post pics later if I can.

Love it! Your hair looks great!

I colored my hair on my own from highschool until about 3 years ago. Now my hairstylist does a combination of highlights and lowlights that I can’t possibly recreate.

I’m pretending that the money I saved doing it myself for about 20 years pays for getting it done professionally now – LOL!

  2. if I am going to have color then my hairdresser does it. I would not trust myself! But, in a pinch to color gray I so would’ve done the same thing Sarah! $10 vs $75 is a no brainer! Way to save that green!

I can’t believe we both did hair color posts on practically the same day!

Your hair looks great! And I guarantee, your hair stylist will NEVER break up with you!

  6. Sarah…you’re funny! I, too, have stopped getting my hair colored at the salon to cut corners…only I haven’t turned to the box yet…but I’m turning gray by the second!!! Might have to follow your lead 🙂

  7. I about fell off my chair when you said $75 to get your hair colored. That is why I never color my hair I just couldn’t afford keeping that up. I believe in the “natural highlights” for now. LOL! My mother doesn’t color her hair either and she really doesn’t have that much gray so maybe I will have her hair.
    Smiles!
