Readers of the Week

It time for another addition of the Readers of the Week. I really can’t believe the fact that people actually read my stuff, and I’m thrilled. So I’m giving back to you with links and a little recognition. I love everyone who interacts with me, but I have to just highlight a few.
- Rodney (aka Kim’s Hotrod) at A Paradoxical Paradise is an
oldlong-time friend of my husband and me. He began blogging shortly after I did, and besides having one of the best titles I’ve seen, he is a really great person! Rodney tops the chart in reader referrals this week. So, either lots of people clicked my link on his page, or he came over and read a lot. Either way, he wins! - Tied for most referrals is ProBlogger.net. I would be lying if I said the author Darren was actually a reader, but he did visit my blog once! I entered this post in a group writing project, called “31 days to a building a better blog,” in the reader tips. His site is a MUST for bloggers, and that is why he has 29,894 subscribers, including me!
- Commentor of the week is first time commentor Deb from What’s the Magic Word? She is really funny, and it looks like she’s been blogging for about 2 months now, so we should all pay her a visit.
- Last, but not least, my SIL Katie, from Katharin Crouch Photography, who took the picture of my dog Nigel, and his brother Julian. She is a very talented photographer.
If I don’t stop now, I’ll run out of readers by next week. Have a great weekend!
BONUS: Google search of the week: “toddlers drink moldy juice”

Well, I don’t know what I did to deserve the ROTW award, but WOW!! First off I’d like to thank my wife…
I guess with all these extra visitors to my site (thanks to your link) I should probably put something interesting on there. There goes my evening playing the Wii!

Oh yeah, I prefer “long-time friend” as opposed to “OLD friend”!

ok, so I leave a little comment about copyright laws and you add me to your list like that will makeup for it! It might if you can actually get people to buy photos too! lol! I guess I really need ot find the time to update all my wonderful photos of July and August since I am soooo behind. That way you will have something new to look at when you go there! Thanks for the mentiona nd the posting of my blog!!!

What a great concept of ROTW! I may have to borrow this idea sometime.

You named your dog Nigel? How did I not know that? I would have made fun of that a long time ago.
Is he a fox hunting dog that once ran the fields with Prince Charles and ate pate’ from a silver dish? How do you say “Tally-ho” and “Bollocks!” in dog? Was your fire-starting husband asleep when you and the girls got together and named the dog?
DISCLAIMER: If Nigel is a family name or bears some great significance to you or anyone reading this, I apologize. Anyone named Nigel should get a break.

PS-
I guess it’s comments like this that have kept the ever illusive “Reader of the Week” award just out of reach for me.

Yay! Ben’s back!! I’m laughing hysterically!
For your information, Nigel means “black haired”. Any he does bark in a British accent, so it seemed appropriate! He’s very refined, even as he licks his bottom and rolls in deer poop.
Oh, and flattery will get you everywhere for the ROTW!
