The Rocks Cry Out

So, I haven’t written a serious post about the Lord in awhile. It’s not that I haven’t been talking to him, praising him and living for him, I just haven’t been in the place to blog about it.

We went to a place called “Lost Cove” Saturday to go hiking and river swimming (I actually went river-swimming-watching, I think they use water that cold in some enhanced interrogation techniques) While we were down there, I couldn’t help but marvel at God’s creation. We were so small in comparison to the powerful river, the waterfalls, the huge old trees! The NC mountains are so beautiful this time of the year, you really should come up here and explore!

I sang at church Sunday as part of our worship band. When we sang “Majestic” by Lincoln Brewster, the images of His creation came flooding back, and I was in awe of God’s majesty. I was blessed to capture some of the beauty with my camera.

If you want to listen to the song while you look at the pictures, Here it is from Blip.FM

Oh Lord, Our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth
Oh Lord, Our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth
The heavens declare Your greatness
The oceans cry out to You
The mountains, they bow down before You
So I’ll join with the earth and I’ll give my praise to You
