Traveling Woes

I’m sitting in the Philadelphia airport right now, after a delayed flight, a cancelled flight, and an attempt to get on another flight on “standby.” I could be completely frustrated right now, but after my adventure in Puerto Rico a few years ago, this is nothing! That’s a really funny story for another day!
After all, this trip might take up to 11 hours to complete! Phew!
UPDATE!! After my friend Amber called me, and I asked her to pray, we are scheduled to leave at 9:20!! At this point, I won’t believe it till we take off, but it’s better than waiting till 11:00!
I can’t wait to tell the Puerto Rico story!
I have run a 5K in Disney World because my brother talked me into it. He runs marathons, triathalons and other things where some people throw up at the end. I kind of liked the 5K becasue it was somethign I could complete.

Not fun. My mom had to deal with this sort of fun when she came out for Christmas – both coming and going.

I once got stuck in San Salvador, El Salvador on my way to Nicaragua because of a little plane accident in Nicaragua. The fun was that they put us up in some beautiful swanky beach resort for the night, with an all you can eat buffet. I went to sleep in my king size bed listening to the sound of the waves outside of my cabana. It would have been better if my husband had been with me, though!
