Weekend Blog Reading

I recently read something (I can’t remember where) about the power of linking to blog posts you want to share.  As opposed to tweeting them, which is great to do in addition.  Instead of just spreading the post to your followers in the moment, you actually give it some search engine juice and a lasting link, which is much more valuable in the web-world.

So here I am.  Instead of momentarily tweeting links, I’m going to start filing them away in a post to publish on the weekends.

SuperJenn: Quick and Easy 6 Hour Apple Crisp A great quick recipe, with a funny story to go with it!

Resourceful Mommy: Disney on Twitter The Go-To list of Disney insiders on Twitter!  Got a question?  Ask these Disney-Savvy Tweeps

The Relevant Conference: Sponsor Spotlight: Operation Christmas Child: A touching true story of how lives are changed with a simple shoebox gift.

All.Things.Fadra: Wordless Wednesday: I love my son because… Such sweet photos and a tribute to an “all-boy” boy.

Chris Brogan: Don’t Be Chris Brogan This is an awesome lesson for business and life.  Especially if you were in my session at TypeAMom Conference, read this!

Of course, I have to throw in a plug for my New MomTV Show, “The Mom Blog Buzz”! Check it out here!

  2. Great idea. It also serves to the idea from college (waaaay back when) that if you write it down it sticks with you longer. Thanks for the love 🙂
