Woman to Woman – Celebrating Me!

This is from Seeds from My Garden:
“We (women) tend to focus so much on our weaknesses and often blow them out of proportion. But our strengths go unnoticed, especially by ourselves. In my life I have hesitated to express confidence about certain aspects of me because I didn’t want to sound arrogant. It so often seems taboo to assert your successes as a parent! And even in general, I think women are very careful about how much credit or attention they give to themselves.”
I have been feeling so beat down lately by several things. I am having a hard time thinking of my strengths, so I will go straight to The Voice of Truth. (My formatting is being weird, so if you can’t see it all, you can see it at Freedom in Christ Ministries.) Be sure to watch the video at the end.

How wonderful to put your strengths in focus through the scriptures. There are so many that affirm who we are as human beings, emphasizing that God created us and therefore, we are worthwhile. I hope doing this helped you feel a lift and better about yourself. Thank you for sharing these thoughts. I hope to see you at future writings.

This is so good, Sarah! I have been talking to the Bible School girls a lot lately about searching the scriptures for what God says about them and not listening to even what they themselves say… I am going to look for this in Spanish and give it to them. Thanks!
