I just finished my gift baskets for teachers, and I thought I’d share what I gave this year. These are super easy and inexpensive, and show a lot of appreciation to those who impact your kids.
I got the mug and basket at the Dollar Tree. You can give it just like this, or wrap it in Shrink-wrap, available at any craft store or Walmart.
In this Winter Warm-up Basket, I included:
- Easy Sourdough Bread. I promise I’ll post the recipe on Friday! You can substitute banana or pumpkin bread, or fresh fruit.
- Cake in a Cup, or you could substitute Friendship Soup Mix
- Coffee or Gourmet Hot Chocolate.
- Hersheys Whole Bean Chocolate. Ferrero Rochet or truffles are also a great addition.

I am new to this as a giver. I used to teach school and got all kinds of things. My son is in preschool this year and so I am not sure what to give. I am seriously leaning towards a prayer journal. My mom sells them in her store and I can get it cheap:) I have one and love it!

This year I’m giving a bag of fudge and a $10 Starbucks gift card enclosed in a nice note.
I’m doing this for every school teacher (there are 3) and every Sunday School teacher (there are 6!!). And I’m doing fudge and a $10 Blockbuster gift card to the bus driver.

Very nice! My daughter is too young for teachers but I have good friends who are teachers–they say their favorite gifts are homemade food and gift cards!

My mom used to be a teacher and growing up I saw those gifts from the parents of her students and some are quite cute, one that she really liked was the scarf..I guess it really depends to the teacher, I think is great to ask your kid to know what’s the best gift for their teacher. I think I’m going to give her an organizer
